Accra City Invitational football tournament starts with two matches on Friday

The Accra city invitational football tournament starts with two matches on Friday as the participating clubs gear up for next season.

This pre-season tourney, is being held at the Hearts Africa Academy Complex, Pobiman, the training grounds of hosts Accra Hearts of Oak.

Friday's opening game will see Vision FC playing newly promoted Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Port City FC starting at 9:00 AM.

Then in the afternoon, hosts Accra Hearts of Oak will play Swedru All Blacks at 3:00 PM to close the days programme.

The winners of the two matches, will then contest for the trophy on Sunday to close this pre-season ritual.

That game will be in the afternoon starting at 3:00 PM, and, that will follow a play-off for third and fourth position to be contested for by the two losers from Friday.

This pre-season tourney is being organized by Accra Hearts of Oak who have invited three clubs to partake in this competition as preparations for the new season.
