Anthony Joshua, the British Nigerian boxer and World Boxing Organisation heavyweight champion, is preparing to return to the ring following a tragic tragedy in December.

The former unified world champion will return to the ring this summer, fighting Kristian Prenga in Riyadh, before facing Tyson Fury in November.

Anthony will make his comeback in boxing on July 25 in Saudi Arabia, with promoters Turki Alashikh and Eddie Hearn confirming the announcement.

Anthony Joshua’s last fight was against Jake Paul at Kaseya Centre in Miami, Florida, in the United States of America on the 19th of May, 2025.

"It's no secret I've taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready for stepping back into the ring and today is the next step on that journey. I'm delighted to have agreed a multi-fight deal starting with July 25 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Joshua said.

Prenga has 21 bouts in his career, 20 of which he has won and one loss, which came against Giovanni Auriemma on November 18, 2017 in the Netherlands.

Prenga said: "Anthony Joshua is a great fighter, but he made a terrible miscalculation in picking me as his opponent. This is the kind of fight that changes everything in my life and his.

"I know they have big plans ahead after this fight. I know they are overlooking me. I'm happy about that. I will derail their plans and shock the world this July in Saudi Arabia."
