The Sekondi Essipong Sports Stadium has received conditional approval from FIFA and CAF to host the Olympic Games second round 2nd leg qualifier between Ghana and Mauritius.

The Black Queens will host Mauritius on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 15:00hrs at the Sekondi Essipong Sports Stadium in Sekondi-Takoradi.

This follows a series of engagements between the Ghana Football Association and the continental and world governing bodies.

Ghana holds a commanding lead after a 3-0 victory in the 1st leg played in Mauritius and will look to complete the task at home to advance to the next round of the qualifiers for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, FIFA has appointed match officials for the encounter.

Burundian official Nsabima Joselyne will serve as Referee, assisted by compatriot Niyokindi Anitha as Assistant Referee 1 and Ethiopian Defersha Sentayehu as Assistant Referee 2.

Ethiopia's Shibre Yordanos Mulugeta will act as Fourth Official, with Algerian Moula Slidja as Referee Assessor and Cham Sainabou from The Gambia as Match Commissioner.
