The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has conveyed a strong message of assurance to the residents of the Ashanti Region. He emphasized that the party is steadfast in its commitment to fulfilling campaign promises after its victory in the 2024 general election.

During the first day of his Ashanti Regional Thank You Tour, at Nsuta Kwamang Beposo, Hon. Asiedu Nketia outlined the purpose of his visit. It was not only an expression of gratitude but also the commencement of a process of accountability. The NDC aims to regularly evaluate its performance against the promises made to the people of Ghana.

Hon. Asiedu Nketia acknowledged the substantial challenges the party faced upon assuming office. However, he highlighted that President John Dramani Mahama’s government had already initiated measures to stabilize the country and enhance living conditions.
