A Ghanaian man has requested a DNA test to determine whether he is the biological father of his six-year-old daughter.

Speaking on Oyerepa Afutuo with Auntie Naa, he said his wife had repeatedly resisted taking a DNA test, fueling his doubts about the child's paternity.

He also claimed comments from her family added to his suspicions.

"This is about knowing my rights as a father," he said.

His wife, Rosemary, rejected the allegations and maintained that the child belongs to her husband.

"The child is his. I became pregnant two months before our marriage," she said, while denying claims of infidelity.

She also accused her husband of failing to properly care for the children and being unfaithful during their marriage.

Following discussions on the programme, Rosemary agreed to a DNA test for the child.

Both parents are expected to present the six-year-old girl for testing in a bid to settle the matter.
