FIFA has awarded Morocco an additional +18.02 points in the latest world rankings following the decision by Confederation of African Football (CAF) regarding the controversial incident during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final against Senegal.
The ruling by CAF led to an adjustment in the ranking calculations, with Morocco benefiting significantly from the outcome. The North African side have now climbed closer to the elite group in world football.
