The opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) have announced nomination fees for their upcoming National Executive elections scheduled to come off in October.
Aspirants wishing to contest for the National Chairmanship position will have to buy nomination forms at GH₵50,000.
For the Vice Chairperson position, an aspirant will pick nomination forms at GH₵30,000.
The General Secretary position will have aspirants paying GH₵25,000 for a nomination form.
Other national positions has nomination forms being sold at GH₵10,000.
For the Nasara, Women's and Youth Organizers positions, the nomination forms will be sold at GH₵8,000.
These nomination fees will help the NPP cover the cost of organizing these internal elections in Ghana.
The NPP has scheduled October 3, 2026, for its National Executive Elections, with nominations set to open on August 17 and close on August 22.
The elections will cover key positions including National Chairperson, General Secretary, National Organiser, National Treasurer, National Women Organiser, National Youth Organiser and National Communication Director.
Prospective candidates must meet the party’s eligibility requirements, including being active members in good standing for at least two years and securing endorsements from members in good standing across all 16 regions.
