The race for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League (GPL) title is heating up with three matches to end the season.

Medeama SC leads the standing with 56 points, two points ahead of reigning champions Bibiani Gold Stars after the midweek clashes on Wednesday.

The Mauve and Yellow, are hoping to win their second Ghanaian top-flight title and, they are in pole position to achieve that.

Medeama SC will claim the title if they win all of their remaining matches.

They will play Basake Holy Stars in an away encounter on Sunday, and they can clinch the title with a home win over Heart of Lions in their next game.

Medeama SC will play their last fixture of the season away to Accra Hearts of Oak in the capital in a game they will hope it means meaningless after they have won the title with a win in their previous game.

Champions Gold Stars, will hope fortune turns to their side in the race for the title.

The Miners will play Dreams FC in an away encounter next week as their fixture against Hohoe United this weekend in cancelled.

Gold Stars will host Eleven Wonders who are relegated in their last game of the season.

They will hope the last three results favours them as they look for a second GPL title.
