Six feared dead as canoe capsize at Wulensi

Six people are feared dead after a canoe capsized at Sanayili in the Wulensi District of the Northern Region of Ghana.

The victims were reportedly returning from a funeral at Zonyohini when the canoe they were travelling in capsized and was swept away by strong currents.

The deceased include one man, four women, and a child.

Four bodies have so far been recovered, while search efforts are ongoing for the remaining two.
