Ghana Police Hospital's 4-Day Fumigation Exercise.

The Ghana Police Hospital is set to initiate a comprehensive fumigation and maintenance exercise at its Paediatrics and Accident and Emergency Departments. This exercise will take place from Friday, April 3, to Monday, April 6, 2026. The primary aim is to enhance safety and hygiene standards within the hospital.

Temporary Suspension of Admissions.

In preparation for this undertaking, there will be a temporary suspension of new admissions to these departments starting April 15, 2026. This measure is intended to decongest the units before the commencement of the fumigation process, ensuring that the exercise can be conducted efficiently and effectively.

Public Advisory.

The management of the Ghana Police Hospital has issued a statement to inform and advise the general public and clients. The statement, signed by Police Chief Inspector Faustina Afia Nunekpeku, the hospital's Public Affairs Officer, emphasizes the importance of this exercise and encourages individuals to utilize alternative healthcare facilities during the specified period.

The hospital appreciates the cooperation and understanding of the public as they endeavor to improve the healthcare environment for all patients and staff.
