U.S. and Chilean Forces Deepen Maritime Cooperation Through Strategic Talks

Service members from the United States and Chile have reinforced their maritime partnership through a series of high-level Maritime Staff Talks held at Naval Station Newport from April 13 to 15, 2026.

The engagement brought together representatives from multiple U.S. military branches alongside personnel from the Chilean Navy and Marine Corps. The discussions focused on strengthening coordination, improving joint planning, and advancing future collaborative efforts between the allied forces.
