The CMC Ladies Club has officially launched its Pink October Month Celebration 2026, in collaboration with COCOBOD Ladies Club, beginning a month-long program dedicated to breast cancer awareness, education, and support.
The opening event marked the start of activities under the theme, “Together in Pink: Raising Awareness, Inspiring Hope, Saving Lives.”
The launch featured opening remarks highlighting the significance of Pink October, the unveiling of the month’s theme and color-day activities, and the distribution of pink ribbons and pins to staff as visible symbols of awareness and solidarity.
A key highlight of the program was an educational health talk on understanding breast cancer, its risk factors and prevention, providing participants with useful information to encourage greater awareness and proactive attention to their health.
The Week One activities set the tone for a month focused not only on wearing pink, but also on promoting meaningful conversations, encouraging informed health choices, and standing together with individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
